Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients referred by physicians to determine their individual needs and rehabilitation goals.
• Design and implement customized treatment plans that align with evidence-based practices, ensuring each patient's unique circumstances are addressed.
• Administer therapeutic exercises, functional training, and manual therapy techniques tailored to specific patient populations, including orthopedics, pediatrics, neurology, and sports medicine.
• Provide education and training to patients and their families, equipping them with the knowledge and skills needed to facilitate recovery at home.
• Collaborate with fellow team members to maximize patient outcomes through coordinated care efforts and continuous feedback loops.
• Maintain detailed patient records, documenting progress and modifications to treatment plans in compliance with state regulations.
• Engage in community outreach initiatives to enhance awareness of physical therapy benefits and establish relationships that will foster referrals.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The Physical Therapist will work with a diverse patient population, ranging from children with developmental conditions to adults recovering from orthopedic surgeries and sports injuries. This role requires not only clinical expertise but also the ability to build trust and rapport with each patient, ensuring their experience is both supportive and empowering as they navigate their road to recovery.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution is required.
• A valid state license as a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) obtained from the Physical Therapy Examining Committee.
• A minimum of two years of experience in an outpatient setting is preferred.
• Current CPR certification to ensure emergency preparedness.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey treatment plans to patients and colleagues.
• Proficient in using technology for documentation and patient management, including electronic health records (EHR) systems.
• A genuine desire to engage with patients and foster relationships to promote adherence to treatment protocols and positive outcomes.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in a multi-disciplinary outpatient clinic setting that emphasizes teamwork and community collaboration.
• Familiarity with specialized treatment techniques or certifications in areas such as manual therapy or dry needling.
• Ability to meet utilization targets while maintaining excellent standards of care.

Compensation and Benefits

Collier Physical Therapy offers a competitive salary range of $100,000 to $120,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications. In addition to base salary, we provide a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
