Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor within our community health clinic, you will be involved in a variety of tasks aimed at fostering the mental health of our young adult clients:

• Group Therapy Facilitation: Conduct engaging therapy sessions that create a safe space for clients to share experiences and support one another in their journeys.

• Individualized Therapy: Provide empathetic, one-on-one counseling that enables clients to explore their thoughts, feelings, behaviors, and develop personalized coping strategies tailored to their needs.

• Treatment Planning: Collaborate with clients to create individualized treatment plans that are goal-oriented, taking into consideration their specific challenges and aspirations.

• Progress Monitoring: Utilize assessment tools and feedback methods to track client progress, adjusting treatment plans accordingly to ensure optimal outcomes.

• Team Collaboration: Work with other mental health professionals—including psychiatrists, social workers, and psychologists—to coordinate care and enhance client support, addressing complex cases as needed.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of your counseling efforts will be on young adults aged 18 to 30 experiencing a range of mental health issues, including mood disorders, anxiety, and developmental challenges. Qualifications\n

• Licensure: Must hold a current Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) license in the State of California.

Compensation and Benefits\n
