Payroll Specialist – Multi-State Payroll - ADP Workforce Now

Oxford Solutions is working with a client seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist for a 6+ month contract opportunity. This is a remote position, with candidates located in the Pittsburgh, PA area highly preferred. Candidates must reside in the Eastern Time Zone.

The Payroll Specialist will be responsible for end-to-end payroll processing across multiple states, including timekeeping review, payroll preparation, validation, and issue resolution.

Responsibilities:

• Process multi-state payroll accurately and on schedule
• Manage the complete payroll cycle from timekeeping through final payroll processing
• Review employee time and attendance data and resolve discrepancies
• Maintain payroll records and ensure accurate employee deductions, earnings, and adjustments
• Research and resolve payroll-related questions and processing issues
• Support payroll reconciliations, reporting, and compliance activities
• Work with HR, finance, and employees to address payroll-related matters

Requirements:

• 3+ years of payroll processing experience
• Demonstrated experience independently running complete payroll cycles
• Multi-state payroll experience required
• Hands-on experience with ADP Workforce Now required
• Strong knowledge of timekeeping and payroll processing procedures
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet strict payroll deadlines
• Must reside within the Eastern Time Zone
• Pittsburgh, PA area candidates are highly preferred
