Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct individual and group therapy sessions, employing evidence-based therapeutic techniques tailored to each client’s unique needs.

• Perform thorough bio-psycho-social assessments to gather comprehensive information essential for developing effective treatment plans.

• Provide clients with coping strategies, social skills development, anger management strategies, and interventions to mitigate risk behaviors such as self-injurious behaviors and aggression.

• Empower clients and their families by improving in-home behavioral management and decision-making skills: essential components for fostering resilience.

• Engage in multidisciplinary collaborations with other professionals to create holistic support systems for clients and their families.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation, including intake reports, treatment plans, DAP notes, and progress reports within designated time frames.

• Participate in monthly team meetings and ensure the timely submission of necessary administrative paperwork, supporting the efficient function of our counseling services.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, Family Therapy, or a related field, accompanied by a valid professional license (LMFT, LMHC, LCSW).

• Crisis Intervention Training is strongly preferred; willing candidates can enroll in this essential training through our resources.

• Familiarity with creating treatment plans, setting treatment goals, and conducting comprehensive initial assessments is crucial for client success.

• Proficiency in various counseling methods including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT), Gestalt, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Trauma Response strategies.

• Knowledge of the DSM-V for accurate assessments and diagnosis is necessary for providing the best client care.

• A commitment to utilizing positive behavior support strategies to encourage constructive outcomes for clients is expected.
