Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough assessments of clients' mental health needs through individual and family sessions.
• Developing personalized therapy plans that address the specific challenges and dynamics of families and individuals.
• Facilitating sessions with couples while simultaneously conducting individual therapy when appropriate to address unique personal concerns.
• Implementing evidence-based therapeutic techniques to support clients in overcoming issues such as alcohol abuse, grief, relationship conflicts, and adjustment to life changes.
• Continuously evaluating the efficacy of treatment interventions and modifying plans as necessary based on client progress and feedback.
• Documenting client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with organizational policies and privacy regulations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• A valid Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) license issued by the state of New York.
