Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments and develop tailored treatment plans based on the unique needs of each client.

• Administer evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), ensuring they align with each patient's preferences and clinical needs.

• Maintain accurate clinical records in compliance with HIPAA and organizational policies, ensuring confidentiality and data security.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary treatment team to review cases and enhance the quality of clinical care through regular consultations.

• Educate clients and their families on mental health issues and community resources, empowering them to make informed decisions about their care.

• Engage in continuous professional development by staying abreast of the latest research in mental health and integrating evidence-based practices into your work.

• Manage a full caseload of clients, adhering to ethical standards set forth by the National Association of Social Workers (NASW) and ensuring treatment milestones are achieved effectively and timely.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily work with individuals undergoing detoxification from substance use. The patient population is diverse and may include people from various backgrounds facing mental health challenges in conjunction with substance use disorders. Your role will be crucial in guiding them through their recovery journey and connecting them with ongoing support services.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is mandatory.

• A valid LMSW license in the state of New York is required.

• At least three years of clinical experience, with a proven track record of working effectively in psychiatric or substance abuse settings.

• Proficient knowledge of solution-based psychotherapy techniques and a commitment to evidence-based practices.

Compensation and Benefits\n
