Key Responsibilities\n

• Collaborate closely with the Medical Director and Medical Team Administrator to develop and coordinate comprehensive mental health treatment plans for patients both in and outside of our facility.

• Conduct educational in-service trainings on mental health issues for medical, psychiatric, and security staff to enhance awareness and effective responses to mental health needs.
\n
• Proactively intervene and manage mental health crises, utilizing de-escalation techniques and immediate support methods to ensure patient safety.
\n
• Represent the facility by attending commitment hearings and providing necessary documentation as required.
\n
• Create customized treatment plans and achievable goals tailored to individual patient needs, regularly evaluating and adjusting them based on progress.
\n
• Documentation of all patient interactions and treatment sessions is essential to ensure continuity of care and compliance with healthcare regulations.
\n
• Safeguard patient confidentiality and uphold ethical standards concerning medical record-keeping.
\n
• Verify and assess past patient mental health histories, including previous utilization of psychotropic medications to inform treatment decisions.
\n
• Prepare timely reports on patient progress and any special circumstances that necessitate attention, ensuring efficient communication with the broader care team.

• Facilitate post-release referrals by collaborating with nursing and mental health staff to support patient transitions to external care providers.

At Healing Garden, you will engage with a diverse patient population, covering a broad spectrum of mental health conditions, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance misuse. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctorate degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.

• Must possess an active and unrestricted LPC license in the state of Colorado.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 70,000 – 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additionally, you will be eligible for a sign-on bonus upon successful completion of your introductory period.
