Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Trauma ICU Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/22/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Trauma ICU – Tyler, TX 75701 Start Date: September 22, 2026 Location: Tyler, Texas Schedule: Days, 3x12-hour shifts (07:00 - 19:00), 13-week assignment Highlights: Level I Trauma ICU experience in a 16-bed unit with 1:2 patient ratios Work with a comprehensive interdisciplinary team including IV teams, respiratory services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and more Epic charting system utilized for all patient documentation Float opportunities to ICU, Intermediate Care, and Telemetry units as needed 36 hours of orientation provided to support your transition Adult patient population in a dynamic trauma care environment Requirements: Active RN license (state or compact license must be in hand at time of submission) Minimum 2 years of ICU nursing experience preferred Previous travel nursing experience required Epic charting system experience required Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS required; PALS and TNCC preferred Level I or Level II Trauma experience preferred Proficiency in ventilator management, BiPAP/CPAP, blood product administration, central line care, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, and IV insertion/maintenance Must not reside in the following Texas counties: Henderson, Anderson, Cherokee, Rusk, Panola, Smith, Gregg, Van Zandt, Wood, Upshur, Camp, Hopkins, Franklin, Titus, or Morris Why Join Us?
