Enhance students' lives through skilled occupational therapy services in a supportive educational environment, working closely with schools near Bear, DE. This full-time contract opportunity begins August 25, 2026, and continues through June 8, 2027, offering you the chance to make a meaningful impact in a diverse school setting.

You’ll provide direct support to children across a range of age groups, with three available positions serving either a split caseload between Lancashire and Maple Lane Elementary, dedicated service at Mount Pleasant Elementary, or shared responsibilities at a middle and high school. Your day runs Monday through Friday, covering 37.5 hours per week with a 30-minute unpaid lunch.

Key Qualifications:

• Active Delaware Occupational Therapist license (required)
• Experience in a school setting or with pediatric populations preferred
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
• Ability to effectively manage time and caseload demands
• Resume must be submitted for consideration
• Willingness to pay $85 for required CBC fingerprinting (must confirm prior to presentation)
• Note: Only Occupational Therapists are eligible due to staffing supervision needs

In this role, you will:

• Deliver direct occupational therapy interventions tailored to individual student needs
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
• Conduct ongoing assessments and maintain comprehensive documentation
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to individualized plan development
• Provide consultative support and training as needed to educational staff
