Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to clients’ unique needs, including both pre-crisis and crisis management strategies.

• Complete required documentation promptly to comply with regulatory standards, ensuring the quality and integrity of care.

• Utilize evidence-based screening tools in collaboration with the clinical team to monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.

• Work cohesively with interdisciplinary teams to create and implement positive behavior support plans, enhancing client outcomes and fostering their mental wellness.

• Actively participate in licensing and accreditation processes, ensuring compliance with all legal and professional standards.

• Liaise with relevant service systems, state agencies, and community partners to coordinate care and facilitate resource access for clients.

• Establish effective communication channels to meet contract standards and advocate for the mission of Progressive Life Counseling Services within the community.

• Network with local, state, and federal agencies to create partnerships and identify funding opportunities that can benefit our programs.

• Pursue ongoing professional development opportunities, including attending workshops, conferences, and relevant meetings to enhance your skills and contribute to the field.

• Support the agency’s mission, values, and principles by integrating them into your daily practice and overall approach to client care.

• Take on additional responsibilities as assigned by the Clinic Director to support the team and the organization’s goals.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily involves working with a diverse population experiencing various mental health challenges. Your interventions will target emotional well-being, crises management, and recovery from dependency issues. You will be instrumental in supporting clients with developmental disabilities and individuals affected by brain injuries by providing therapeutic approaches that meet their specific needs. Building trusting relationships and fostering an empathetic understanding of each client’s unique circumstances will be key to your effectiveness as a counselor.

Qualifications\n
