Employees will adhere to a work schedule of Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, although some flexibility may be required to accommodate patient scheduling and needs. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to understand patients' trauma histories and tailor appropriate treatment plans that promote healing and resilience.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans, utilizing various therapeutic modalities, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions where patients can engage in processing their trauma, develop coping strategies, and build a supportive community.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and interdisciplinary teams to ensure effective and integrated care for all patients.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, demonstrating sensitivity and expertise in high-stress situations.

• Educate patients and their families regarding trauma responses, effective coping strategies, and available support resources in the community.

• Ensure all documentation is maintained accurately and confidentially, adhering to legal and ethical standards relevant to mental health practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Georgia.

Compensation and Benefits\n
