This is a full-time remote position, allowing you to work from the comfort of your home while connecting with patients across the Atlanta area. Our office operates Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility required to accommodate patient scheduling needs. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' trauma histories and develop appropriate treatment strategies.

• Create and implement individualized treatment plans focusing on trauma recovery, incorporating resilience-building techniques based on the latest research.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), during individual and group therapy sessions.

• Provide compassionate and professional crisis intervention support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring patient safety and addressing immediate needs.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses and effective coping mechanisms, thereby empowering them to navigate their healing journeys.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated care, contributing to comprehensive treatment planning for complex cases.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The therapist in this role will be primarily focused on supporting individuals who have experienced various forms of trauma, including survivors of abuse, veterans with PTSD, and individuals experiencing chronic stress due to subjective traumatic experiences. Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 104,000, commensurate with experience.
