This position is 100% remote, allowing you to conduct sessions from the comfort of your own home or any location of your choosing. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial mental health evaluations through chat or video, documenting findings meticulously from the first consultation through the course of treatment.

• Assess and monitor client well-being by evaluating mental, emotional, and behavioral health through established frameworks.
\n
• Collaborate with clients to develop individualized intervention and recovery plans tailored to their unique circumstances, including plans for individuals, couples, families, and group therapies.
\n
• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions while employing various therapeutic techniques and theories to promote client engagement and healing.
\n
• Monitor and document clients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to reflect their evolving needs and circumstances.
\n
• Work closely with other mental health providers, including psychiatrists, primary care physicians, and social workers, to create comprehensive intervention strategies.

• Provide proactive follow-up with healthcare facilities for clients requiring hospitalization, ensuring continuity of care.

• Support clients’ families and caregivers by providing guidance and resources to manage mental health challenges.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our telehealth services are designed to accommodate a diverse clientele, addressing a wide range of mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, relational difficulties, and more. Clients may include individuals of all demographics—children, adolescents, adults, and families seeking engaging, effective mental health support. Our adapted practices ensure each client receives personalized care aligned with their cultural and social backgrounds.

Qualifications\n

• A valid Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and unrestricted licensure as an LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW in the state of Illinois.
\n
• A passing score from the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).
\n
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey complex concepts in an accessible manner.
\n
• Outstanding interpersonal skills and a sincere, empathetic attitude towards client needs.
\n

Preferred Experience\n

• Prior experience working effectively as a mental health counselor in a similar setting, preferably with telehealth or remote counseling modalities.

• Familiarity with electronic health record systems, particularly AVATAR, to facilitate patient records and documentation.
\n
• Keen understanding of the interplay between mental health and physical health conditions, including addiction disorders.
\n
• Knowledge of evidence-based practices as outlined by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA) and other best practice guidelines.
\n
• Experience with collaborative interventions that involve multi-disciplinary teams for holistic care.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience, along with a sign-on bonus.
