This position offers the flexibility of remote work, allowing our therapists to connect with patients from the comfort of their homes while maintaining a healthy work-life balance. Our operational hours are Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with flexibility as required to best meet the needs of our patients. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments for new and existing patients to accurately identify their needs and strengths in order to develop individualized treatment plans.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy, to deliver effective treatments to individuals, couples, and families.

• Facilitate engaging psychoeducational workshops and support groups to empower patients and provide community support.
\n
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure a cohesive and well-rounded approach to patient care, particularly in crisis intervention scenarios.

• Educate patients about their mental health conditions, treatment options, and available community resources to foster greater understanding and self-advocacy.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation of patient interactions, treatment progress, and assessments, adhering to all legal and ethical standards.

• Engage in case consultations and team meetings to share insights and best practices while participating in ongoing professional development activities.

• Stay informed of the latest research and developments in mental health therapy to continuously enhance the quality of care provided.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Mental Health Therapist at Life Works Psychiatric Center, you will serve a diverse patient population, including individuals from various cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds facing a range of mental health challenges. Your expertise will be essential in guiding clients toward recovery and well-being through tailored interventions that accommodate their unique experiences and perspectives.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited university.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in Texas.
\n
• In-depth understanding of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment methodologies.
\n
• Proficient in conducting comprehensive mental health assessments and developing strategic treatment plans.
\n
• Experience in leading individual and group therapy sessions with diverse populations.
\n
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to establish rapport with clients and collaborate with peers.

• Strong ethical judgment with a commitment to maintaining professional boundaries.
\n
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant software applications.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a mental health counseling role, preferably in an outpatient setting.

• Experience facilitating support groups and psychoeducation sessions.

Compensation and Benefits\n

Life Works Psychiatric Center offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience.
