Key Responsibilities\n

• Assess and diagnose individual patients’ mental health needs using appropriate diagnostic tools, including the DSM-5, to formulate a tailored treatment plan that respects cultural diversity and specific patient requirements.

• Conduct regular evaluations to track patient progress, adapting intervention strategies as needed to sustain optimal mental health outcomes.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of treatment records and clinical information utilizing advanced technological platforms, in compliance with regulatory standards and department policies.

• Collaborate with patients and families to craft comprehensive treatment plans that target realistic goals, while also addressing safety concerns and potential symptom management strategies.

• Foster strong, supportive relationships with other healthcare providers and facilitate effective referrals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.

• Actively engage in team discussions, sharing insights and strategies to promote mutual growth and learning among team members.

• Provide guidance and education to students, interns, and volunteers, enhancing the learning environment within our clinical practice.

• Participate in peer reviews and clinical collaborations as directed, contributing to an internal culture of professional development and accountability.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of this role is to support clients and families navigating the complexities of cancer diagnoses. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid State License as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW).

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary range for this position is competitive, between $90,000 and $105,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
