Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and make informed diagnoses as needed, utilizing the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders along with other applicable tools to create individualized treatment plans that reflect cultural diversity and meet the specific needs of our patient population.

• Regularly evaluate patient progress and modify therapeutic interventions to support successful mental health outcomes.

• Document treatment records, clinical information, and progress notes accurately and in a timely manner, following departmental protocols and state regulations.

• Collaborate with patients and their families to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans tailored to their unique needs and goals, ensuring clear communication of care strategies.

• Coordinate referrals and maintain effective working relationships with other healthcare providers and referral agencies, ensuring seamless access to a wide range of services.

• Provide education and mentorship to students, interns, and new staff members, enhancing our team's overall clinical competence.

• In collaboration with your clinical supervisor, participate in peer reviews, clinical audits, and ongoing professional development to foster a culture of continuous improvement within our team.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary patients will include individuals and families grappling with the emotional and psychological impacts of cancer. You will employ evidence-based practices to address a wide array of mental health issues, focusing on providing support through therapeutic interventions, teaching coping mechanisms, and promoting mental well-being.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid State License as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in Washington.

• Strong clinical skills and knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic modalities.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working with oncology patients or individuals experiencing chronic illnesses.

• Prior experience in an outpatient setting is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits\n
