This contract opportunity calls for dedicated Special Education Teachers to serve a Setting 4 caseload—focused on students with the most significant behavioral and developmental challenges, spanning elementary to high school. The assignment runs from September 25, 2026, through June 10, 2027, offering full-time hours Monday through Friday.

Key qualifications:

• Valid Minnesota Special Education Teaching License (Tier 3 or Tier 4 required)
• Experience working with students exhibiting intense behavioral needs and/or severe disabilities
• Strong classroom management and de-escalation skills
• Ability to develop and implement IEPs targeting individualized academic, functional, and social-emotional growth
• Adaptability across elementary, middle, and high school grade levels
• Excellent communication with students, colleagues, and families
• Professionalism, organization, and a student-centered mindset

Primary responsibilities:

• Teach and support students within a Setting 4 environment to address high behavioral and developmental needs
• Design and deliver lessons and interventions aligned with IEP goals
• Collaborate and consult with other educators, support staff, and therapy providers
• Maintain thorough documentation and reporting as required by the district and state
• Foster a positive, structured, and inclusive classroom culture
• Actively contribute to team meetings and problem-solving discussions
