This position offers the flexibility of a remote work setting, enabling counselors to manage their schedules while still delivering high-quality care. The work schedule is flexible, allowing you to choose your hours from Monday to Friday, with occasional availability on weekends as needed.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health evaluations to assess patients' needs and develop tailored treatment plans.

• Provide crisis intervention services to ensure immediate support for patients in distress.

• Facilitate group therapy sessions to foster collective healing and support among participants.

• Coordinate with other healthcare professionals and agencies, including the Department of Correction, to ensure proper disposition and housing of patients requiring mental health care.

• Document all assessments, treatment plans, and session notes in compliance with HIPAA standards to maintain confidentiality.

• Participate in weekly clinical supervision sessions with a Clinical Supervisor to enhance professional development and clinical skills.
\n
• Engage in multidisciplinary case conferences, contributing insights to treatment planning for patients receiving and being considered for various mental health services.

• Stay current with best practices in mental health care, including emerging therapies and interventions relevant to patient populations served.

• Supervise social work interns or students volunteering for experience in mental health settings, providing guidance and support.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of this role is on diverse individuals facing various mental health challenges, encompassing anxiety disorders, depression, trauma-related conditions, and more. You will work closely with patients and families, helping them navigate the complexities of mental health care and ensuring they receive the resources and support needed for recovery.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor's degree in a related field such as Psychology, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling is required.

• Ability to obtain and maintain relevant state licenses as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• Strong communication skills to effectively engage with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.

Preferred Experience\n

We prefer candidates who have previous experience in community mental health settings or clinical environments. Experience working with correctional populations or those undergoing mental health evaluations is also a significant asset.

Compensation and Benefits\n
