Key Responsibilities\n

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be the geriatric population, including individuals facing conditions such as depression, anxiety, dementia, and adjustment issues. You will engage empathetically with elderly patients, many of whom may be navigating complex life transitions such as grief, loss of independence, or chronic health concerns. Establishing trust and rapport with patients and their families will be key to facilitating effective therapeutic interventions.

Qualifications\n

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Georgia.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience is preferred, with a focus on geriatric mental health.

• An in-depth understanding of geriatric mental health disorders, treatment modalities, and effective therapeutic techniques.

• Proven experience providing therapeutic services to elderly clients.
