Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of new clients to evaluate the severity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms, ensuring a thorough understanding of each patient's unique situation.

• Develop and implement bespoke treatment plans in collaboration with clients, addressing their specific needs, preferences, and therapeutic goals.

• Utilize evidence-based therapy modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to effectively support clients in managing their mood disorders.

• Provide psychoeducation to clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment options, and self-care strategies, empowering them to actively participate in their recovery journey.

• Regularly monitor and adjust treatment plans based on clients' feedback and progress, employing a client-centered approach to foster trust and open communication.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure that clients receive integrated and holistic care, enhancing treatment outcomes.

• Stay abreast of emerging research and best practices in mood disorder treatment to continuously improve therapeutic approaches and ensure top-notch client care.

• Maintain meticulous, confidential records of client interactions, assessments, and treatment plans in adherence to legal and ethical standards.

• Engage in case consultations and participate in team meetings to share insights, support each other, and collectively enhance our practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clients primarily include individuals grappling with mood disorders such as major depressive disorder, bipolar disorder, and anxiety disorders. You will work with a diverse population, which includes adults from various backgrounds, each presenting unique challenges and needs. Your role will be crucial in guiding them toward recovery and improved mental wellness.

Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from a recognized and accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Georgia.

• A strong foundation in evidence-based treatment modalities, particularly CBT and DBT, with a focus on establishing effective therapeutic relationships.

Preferred Experience\n

While we welcome applications from candidates at various stages of their careers, applicants with at least two years of post-licensure experience concentrating on mood disorders will be given preference.
