Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct culturally sensitive mental health assessments to gain comprehensive insights into each patient's experiences, which inform the development of individualized treatment plans.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions in both one-on-one and group therapy settings, ensuring that approaches are sensitive to the cultural and personal backgrounds of clients.

• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions, utilizing a variety of therapeutic techniques to assist patients in navigating their mental health concerns.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, and healthcare professionals to guarantee coordinated and holistic care for patients, fostering a multidisciplinary approach.

• Provide crisis intervention services, offering immediate support during mental health emergencies, and developing safety plans as needed.

• Educate patients and their families on mental health conditions, co-occurring disorders, treatment options, and available community resources, enhancing their understanding and engagement in the treatment process.

• Maintain thorough, accurate, and confidential documentation in line with ethical and legal guidelines, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems proficiently.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• A current and valid license as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Georgia is essential.

• Demonstrable knowledge of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment approaches, with a strong emphasis on cultural competence in therapy.

• Experience providing individual therapy and group therapy sessions, employing inclusive and culturally responsive methodologies.

• Exceptional crisis intervention skills, with the ability to maintain composure in high-stress situations.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
