Description What You'll Do

• Conduct routine and advanced lab testscovering chemistry, hematology, immunology, and beyondadhering to established protocols.
• Evaluate results for precision, troubleshoot discrepancies, and carry out preventative maintenance and adjustments on lab equipment.
• Assist in specimen gathering and prepare samples for analysis when necessary.
• Thoroughly document all procedures, mentor new hires or interns, and maintain the highest laboratory quality standards.
• Ensure a tidy, safe work environment while complying with all regulatory and accreditation scenarios.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or a comparable allied health qualification, accompanied by ASCP/AMT certification preparation.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be obtained within your first year.
• Keep your current certification valid for the duration of your employment.
