Business Development Specialist

Help shape the future of hyperscale and mission-critical infrastructure. Next Level Technician is partnering with a rapidly growing data center infrastructure company seeking a Business Development Manager with deep industry relationships and firsthand knowledge of how data center projects are won. We're looking for someone who understands the data center ecosystem—not just from the outside, but from experience working alongside general contractors, electrical contractors, owner representatives, low‑volume contractors, fiber providers, EPC firms, or similar organizations. Responsibilities Develop and strengthen relationships with general contractors, electrical contractors, owner representatives, developers, hyperscale clients, and key decision‑makers. Identify upcoming data center, fiber, structured cabling, and critical infrastructure projects. Position the company early in the project lifecycle before projects reach open bid. Leverage your existing industry network to create new business opportunities. Partner with estimating, operations, and executive leadership to develop winning pursuit strategies. Represent the company at industry events, networking opportunities, and customer meetings. Help expand the company's footprint within the rapidly growing data center infrastructure market. Qualifications Experience developing business within the data center construction or critical infrastructure industry. Strong understanding of how hyperscale, colocation, and mission‑critical infrastructure projects are sourced, qualified, and awarded. Required Skills Experience working with or selling to general contractors, electrical contractors, low‑voltage contractors, fiber providers, owner representatives, mission‑critical contractors, and data center developers. Excellent communication, networking, and relationship‑building skills. Comfortable using modern business development tools and technology, including AI, Google Workspace, CRM platforms, ZoomInfo, and virtual collaboration tools. Preferred Skills Existing relationships within the data center construction market strongly preferred.
