This role is fully remote, enabling counselors to connect with patients through telehealth platforms. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of patients dealing with various mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, and substance abuse disorders.

• Provide immediate crisis counseling and interventions, effectively supporting clients experiencing acute mental health distress.

• Manage case documentation through our secure online platform, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations while maintaining confidentiality.

• Facilitate individual and group counseling sessions, encouraging clients to engage in open discussions about their challenges and progress.

• Create outreach initiatives and training programs aimed at educating clients and stakeholders, including faculty and staff, about mental health awareness and support strategies.

Our clientele primarily includes adults and adolescents seeking support for a variety of mental health challenges. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field is required.

• Possession of a current and active license (LCSW, LMFT, or LPCC) in the state of California is mandatory. At this time, we cannot accept applicants with an associate license, as these individuals are not billable through Medicare.

• Demonstrated proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite and telehealth platforms is essential for managing patient records and conducting sessions.

• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple cases simultaneously.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working with geriatric populations is preferred but not required.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems may be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits\n

• Annual salary range: $50,000 to $122,000, dependent on experience and full-time or part-time status.
