Exciting Opportunity for a Gastroenterology Physician

Our organization in Mason City, Iowa, is thrilled to present a fantastic opportunity for a Board Certified/Board Eligible Gastroenterology Physician to become part of our dedicated team. We are a physician-owned, multi-specialty clinic committed to providing exceptional healthcare.

Opportunity Highlights

• Collaborate with a team consisting of one physician and one Advanced Practice Provider (APP).
• On-call schedule: 1:2.
• Conduct surgical procedures at MercyOne North Iowa Medical Center, a 342-bed regional teaching hospital, as well as at the Ambulatory Surgery Center located on the same campus.
• Primary service area serves approximately 260,000 residents.
• Facility is a Level III Trauma Center equipped with helicopter services.
• Competitive salary of $543,428 annually plus production incentives; includes a $70,000 bonus package over two years (totaling $140,000).

Qualifications

• Board Certified/Board Eligible; must achieve board certification within three years of eligibility.
• H1B and J1 visa candidates are encouraged to apply.
• All offers are subject to successful completion of reference checks, background verification, pre-employment physical, and drug screening.
• Must be a graduate of an accredited medical or osteopathic medical school.
• Proven competency as a physician through completion of a relevant residency program.
• Must be eligible to obtain medical staff privileges at Mercy Medical Center-North Iowa.
• Exceptional communication skills are essential.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
• Must hold or be eligible for a physician license in the State of Iowa, along with an Iowa Controlled Substance Certificate and Federal DEA Certificate.
