This full-time position offers a flexible work environment, predominantly remote, while servicing local schools as required. You will collaborate with educational staff, school counselors, and other mental health professionals to create supportive frameworks within the school setting. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments to identify the emotional, social, and financial needs of students.

• Provide individualized and group counseling sessions focusing on issues such as adjustment disorders, grief, anxiety, and coping mechanisms.

• Work directly with educational staff to develop tailored intervention strategies for students facing challenges that may impact their academic performance.

• Collaborate with community organizations to facilitate post-discharge and ongoing support services, ensuring continuous care for each student.

• Offer guidance and education to students and families regarding available resources, treatment options, and services.
\n
• Engage in crisis intervention, providing immediate support to students and their families in times of need.

• Document all client interactions and service delivery in compliance with legal and ethical guidelines, ensuring all records are timely and accurate.

• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and contribute expertise related to psychosocial issues influencing student well-being.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily focuses on students ranging from elementary to high school, along with their families. You will be instrumental in fostering a supportive environment for adolescents coping with academic stresses, personal issues, and social challenges. By addressing both mental health and social dynamics, you will help pave the way for improved educational and life outcomes.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work from an accredited program.

• Active LCSW licensure in the state of Georgia.

Compensation and Benefits\n
