This position will be conducted remotely, offering flexible work hours and a balanced professional life. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate mood disorder symptoms in clients, utilizing standardized assessment tools and clinical interviews.

• Collaborate closely with clients to create individualized treatment plans that cater to their unique needs and therapeutic goals.
\n
• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to help clients navigate their mental health challenges.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders and effective treatment options, providing them with strategies for self-care and symptom management.
\n
• Monitor and document clients’ progress throughout their treatment journey, making adjustments to treatment plans as needed based on individual responses.
\n
• Work cooperatively with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals, ensuring a multidisciplinary approach to client care that integrates all aspects of mental health treatment.

• Stay informed about advancements in the field of mental health, particularly related to mood disorders, to continuously improve treatment techniques.

• Participate in regular case consultations and professional development opportunities to enhance clinical skills and knowledge of best practices.

• Advocate for clients and work towards reducing the stigma associated with mental health disorders in diverse communities.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be working with clients experiencing mood disorders, including depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related conditions. You will engage with individuals from a variety of backgrounds, addressing the unique cultural and personal factors that influence their mental health. Your expertise will significantly contribute to improving their overall well-being and quality of life.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in Texas.
\n
• Specialized knowledge and experience in evidence-based treatment modalities, particularly Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

• An understanding of psychopharmacology and the capability to effectively collaborate with psychiatrists and other medical personnel.
\n
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to quickly build rapport with clients.

• Proven experience in providing therapy to clients with mood disorders.

• Knowledge of community mental health resources and a willingness to engage with external support systems.

• Previous telehealth experience is a plus but not obligatory.
