Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to identify the needs of children and adolescents in a supportive, reassuring manner.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that reflect the developmental stages of patients and the complexities of family relationships.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored for children and adolescents, focusing on issues such as anxiety and ADHD.

• Facilitate family therapy sessions to educate and empower parents and caregivers, fostering a nurturing home environment.

• Provide crisis intervention support to children and adolescents experiencing acute mental health emergencies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily revolves around working with children and adolescents aged 5 to 18, supporting them through various mental health challenges. Your compassionate and child-centered approach will be crucial in building trust and rapport with both the young patients and their families.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Texas is mandatory.

• In-depth knowledge of child and adolescent mental health disorders and therapeutic modalities is essential.

Compensation and Benefits\n
