Located in Scottsdale, Arizona, New Path Health Care Center provides a remote work setting that allows for flexibility and balance in professional and personal life. Our approach to teletherapy and remote support enables therapists to work effectively while maintaining a healthy work-life integration. Our hours are Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with some scheduling flexibility required to best meet the needs of our patients.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments by engaging with clients to explore their backgrounds, cultural contexts, and presenting issues, ensuring tailored treatment plans are developed.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, employing practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and other modalities in a culturally sensitive manner.

• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions, with a goal of addressing diverse mental health challenges and fostering resilience through a strengths-based approach.

• Collaborate seamlessly with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver integrated and comprehensive patient care.

• Provide crisis intervention and support action plans for clients facing mental health emergencies, demonstrating strong decision-making during critical moments.

• Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, therapeutic approaches, and available community resources, fostering empowerment and informed participation in their care.

• Maintain accurate and confidential clinical documentation, in accordance with legal regulations and ethical guidelines.

• Engage actively in case conferences and professional development activities, including cultural competency training to enhance clinical effectiveness.

• Stay updated on current research, best practices, and cultural considerations in mental health therapy, ensuring a practice that aligns with innovative treatment approaches.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Arizona.

• A thorough understanding of mental health disorders, treatment modalities, and the importance of cultural competence in delivering effective therapy.

• Demonstrated experience in providing individual and group therapy, focusing on an inclusive and culturally responsive practice.

Compensation and Benefits\n
