Key Responsibilities\n

• Deliver individualized therapy strategies through a variety of approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to understand client needs and tailor appropriate treatment plans.

• Facilitate group therapy sessions, counseling individuals, couples, and families to address a range of mental health issues.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential clinical records in compliance with state laws and ethical standards.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated care and communicate effectively regarding client progress and treatment modifications.

• Engage in continuous professional development and attend workshops to enhance your skills and stay abreast of the latest research and methodologies in mental health care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clients include diverse individuals seeking assistance with mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, trauma, and substance use. Many clients face barriers in accessing traditional mental health services, and your role will be instrumental in bridging this gap by providing convenient and compassionate care remotely.

Qualifications\n

• Education: A master’s or doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field is required.

• Licensure: Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in Texas.
\n
• Experience: A minimum of two years of professional counseling experience, ideally in a clinical environment.

• Legal and Ethical Standards: Strong understanding of the legal and ethical standards applicable to mental health practice.

• Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster relationships with clients and collaborate with team members effectively.

• Technical Proficiency: Proficient in using EMR and other digital tools for client management and documentation.

Preferred Experience\n

• Specialization or certification in areas such as family therapy, couples counseling, trauma, or substance use treatment is highly preferred.

• Experience in a telehealth environment or familiarity with virtual counseling methodologies is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits\n
