Work Environment

This full-time position is based onsite at our state-of-the-art rehabilitation center, equipped with advanced therapeutic equipment and a range of resources to deliver high-quality care. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of health professionals, including physicians, occupational therapists, and exercise physiologists, fostering a collaborative and empowering environment for both staff and patients. Your typical work schedule will be Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' progress and functional abilities to establish personalized treatment plans that align with individual goals and needs.
• Deliver cost-effective, evidence-based interventions aimed at improving mobility and physical performance.
• Implement a variety of treatment techniques, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and modalities, to enhance patient outcomes.
• Design and manage wellness and fitness programs that address patients' specific rehabilitation needs.
• Motivate and encourage patients during their therapy sessions to help them achieve optimal participation in their rehabilitation process.
• Monitor patient progress closely, adjusting treatment plans as necessary and maintaining detailed documentation of each session.
• Consult with other healthcare professionals to ensure a comprehensive approach to patient care.
• Educate patients and their families about treatment plans, proper body mechanics, and strategies for self-management to ensure successful outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and various musculoskeletal conditions. Your focus will be on individuals aged 18 and older, who may present with complex rehabilitation needs. Your compassionate approach will serve as a key motivator in their healing process, as you address both physical and emotional aspects of recovery.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program is required; a Master's degree or doctorate is preferred.
• Current and active state licensure as a Physical Therapist is mandatory.
• At least 2 years of clinical experience in orthopedic rehabilitation is required, with a proven focus on treating patients with musculoskeletal conditions.
• A strong background in patient assessment, clinical reasoning, treatment planning, and direct patient care is essential.
• Exceptional communication skills to effectively interact with patients, their families, and other healthcare professionals.
• Demonstrated ability to connect with various personalities and manage diverse patient needs effectively.

Preferred Experience

• Experience using electronic medical record (EMR) systems for patient documentation and care coordination.
• Familiarity with evidence-based practices and emerging trends in physical therapy.
• Certification in additional therapy modalities, such as dry needling or vestibular rehabilitation, is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits
