Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality therapeutic services to individuals, couples, and families. Your day-to-day tasks will include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments to identify client needs and develop tailored treatment plans.

• Facilitating therapy sessions with couples, while also providing individual therapy for each partner to address unique concerns.
\n
• Working with families dealing with various challenges, such as substance abuse, psychological trauma, grief, and interpersonal conflicts.
\n
• Utilizing evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including CBT, family systems therapy, and solution-focused therapy, to foster positive change.

• Documenting client progress and treatment outcomes while adhering to strict confidentiality and ethical guidelines.

• Participating in regular team meetings and supervision sessions to enhance therapeutic skills and share best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your professional expertise will be focused on a wide range of patient concerns, including but not limited to:

• Victims of physical and psychological abuse

• Grief and loss, including coping strategies for bereavement

• Family conflicts, including sibling disputes and cut-offs

• Adjustment issues related to separation and divorce

• Communication difficulties among family members

Qualifications\n

To succeed in this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• Active licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Georgia.

• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related mental health field.

• A solid understanding of family systems theory and various therapeutic modalities.

Preferred Experience\n
