Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct individual therapy sessions remotely, focusing on personal growth and healing in a supportive online environment.

• Facilitate group therapy sessions that help participants develop coping strategies, social skills, and emotional regulation.

• Implement anger management strategies and behavioral interventions aimed at reducing high-risk behaviors, such as self-injurious actions and physical aggression.

• Guide families and youth in developing decision-making skills to effectively manage challenges at home.
\n
• Work collaboratively with the Child Family Treatment Team and other interdisciplinary professionals to create a comprehensive support network for clients.

• Ensure timely submission of all required documentation, including intake forms, treatment plans, and progress notes, adhering to established deadlines.

• Participate in monthly team meetings and contribute recommendations to enhance service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The LMFT will work with a diverse population, focusing on both adults and youth. You will engage clients facing a range of mental health issues, from anxiety and depression to family dynamics and behavioral challenges. Your approach will prioritize understanding each client's unique context and strengths, ensuring customized and effective therapeutic interventions.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Family Therapy, or a related field is required.

• An active and unrestricted LMFT license is mandatory.

• Availability for a minimum of 5-10 hours per week during after-school hours (4-7 pm) to accommodate client needs.

• Experience in providing positive behavior support and therapeutic interventions is essential.

• A valid driver’s license and access to a registered vehicle for potential in-home sessions, if applicable.

• Completion of a criminal background check, including fingerprinting, is required to ensure a safe environment for clients.

Compensation and Benefits\n
