Travel RN - Telemetry - Progressive Care Unit

American Traveler is hiring a Progressive Care Unit RN for a night shift assignment requiring cardiac drip titration experience and a WA or compact RN license. Requirements Active WA state or compact RN license required, must be in hand at time of submission BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required Minimum 1 year of recent RN experience required Cardiac drip titration and management experience is a hard requirement Teaching hospital experience preferred Previous charge nurse experience preferred 2 professional references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years, from supervisory roles such as Charge RNs or Leads Responsibilities Work in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU/Stepdown) of a Level II Trauma Center and teaching hospital Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00-7:00) Patient ratios of 1:4-5 Every other weekend required No on-call requirements May float to Telemetry or Med-Surg floors if overstaffed, with travelers floated first Epic EMR used and required First time travelers accepted Provide bedside nursing care to cardiac telemetry and stepdown patients, including monitoring, medication management, and emergency response Skills utilized may include respiratory management, IV therapy, central/peripheral line care, cardiac monitoring, and wound care Must commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day) Candidates may select one of Thanksgiving or Christmas off, but not both All RTO and scheduling requests must be submitted upfront prior to offer, as post-offer requests may not be accommodated Scrub color for RNs is not restricted to a specific color No parking fees at this facility Local candidates accepted at a lower bill rate within a 50-mile radius Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must not currently reside within 50 miles of the facility Candidates must disclose any prior work history at Providence facilities as a permanent employee, traveler, or per-diem staff Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts Job ID: P-761388 Open Positions: 1 #J-18808-Ljbffr American Traveler, LLC.
