Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments to identify patients’ emotional, social, and environmental strengths and challenges as related to their diagnosis and life situations.

• Develop and implement individualized intervention plans that include various therapeutic modalities, addressing issues such as grief, anxiety, and coping mechanisms.

• Collaborate closely with healthcare professionals, including nurses and physicians, ensuring integrated care plans that involve patient and family input.

• Facilitate discharge planning that encompasses interactions with third-party payers and other healthcare providers to ensure seamless transitions of care.

• Provide direct education and counseling to patients and their families on adapting to new life circumstances brought about by serious illnesses.

• Engage in crisis intervention strategies and deliver both short-term and long-term therapeutic support tailored to individual patient needs.

• Assist in mentoring and guiding junior staff and social work interns to strengthen clinical practice within the organization.

• Participate in on-call rotation to address after-hours emergencies and support patients outside of standard operating hours.

• Present at educational conferences, sharing best practices in psychosocial oncology and contributing to the professional community.

• Engage in community outreach to promote access to resources for cancer survivors and their families.

Qualifications\n

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 100,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
