Key Responsibilities\n

In your role as an LMFT, you will engage with clients through both individual and couple therapy sessions focused on fostering healthy relationships and resolving conflicts. Your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments to identify clients' needs and goals.

• Facilitating therapy sessions for couples while also offering individual therapy as needed.

• Providing evidence-based interventions for various family dynamics and issues, including but not limited to:

• Grief and loss

• Communication difficulties

• Separation and divorce adjustment
\n
• Sibling and other family member conflicts

• Blended family transitions
\n
• Job-related stress and medical issues

• Collaborating with our interdisciplinary team to enhance treatment strategies and patient outcomes.

• Maintaining accurate client records and treatment plans in compliance with regulatory standards.

• Engaging in continuous professional development and supervision as required.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse patient population, including adults, children, and adolescents, addressing a wide variety of issues. Your expertise will benefit clients navigating relationship difficulties, family transitions, and individual mental health challenges. This role emphasizes a person-centered approach, ensuring that each client's unique experience and needs are recognized and addressed.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or related field from an accredited institution.

• Current and active LMFT licensure in the state of New York.
