Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess the intensity, frequency, and duration of clients' mood disorder symptoms, ensuring accurate diagnoses.

• Develop personalized treatment plans collaboratively with clients that align with their individual needs, preferences, and treatment goals.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to address various mental health issues.

• Provide ongoing education and support to clients and their families about mood disorders, available treatment options, and self-care strategies aimed at enhancing overall wellbeing.

• Continuously monitor and document client progress, adjusting treatment plans when necessary to reflect their evolving needs and circumstances.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure an integrated care approach for clients.

• Stay informed about recent advancements and research within the field of mental health to continually enhance treatment practices and interventions.

• Maintain accurate and confidential client records in accordance with all legal and ethical guidelines.

Qualifications\n

• A current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is mandatory.
