As a full-time Mental Health Counselor, you will work remotely, providing flexibility while connecting with patients through virtual consultations. Our outpatient office fosters a supportive environment where counselors collaborate to maintain a high standard of care. We prioritize work-life balance, making it imperative for our counselors to manage their schedules effectively while addressing patient needs. The standard work schedule is Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility to accommodate patient sessions and consultations.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to understand patients' unique needs and develop tailored treatment plans that may include therapeutic interventions or referrals to additional services.

• Utilize evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Therapy, to deliver individualized counseling sessions either one-on-one or within family and group therapy settings.

• Facilitate psychoeducational workshops and support groups, fostering a sense of community among participants who share common mental health challenges.

• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team including psychiatrists and psychologists to coordinate cohesive patient care, ensuring all aspects of mental health and wellness are addressed.

• Provide crisis intervention services and immediate support during mental health emergencies, demonstrating an ability to remain calm and effective under pressure.

• Educate patients and their families about mental health disorders, treatment options, and community resources available to them.

• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in compliance with legal and ethical requirements using contemporary Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.

Qualifications\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
