Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial consultations and evaluations of clients to assess their mental health needs and identify treatment objectives.

• Develop customized treatment plans that address specific issues such as anxiety, depression, substance use disorders, and eating disorders, employing evidence-based approaches.

• Offer regular individual and group counseling sessions, utilizing a culturally responsive methodology to foster an inclusive therapeutic environment.
\n
• Document progress and treatment outcomes in electronic health record (EHR) systems to track clients’ journeys effectively and collaborate with other healthcare professionals.

• Assess clinical situations regularly and employ crisis intervention techniques when necessary to ensure client safety and facilitate effective outcomes.

• Act as a liaison by referring clients to psychiatrists and other specialists when additional support is required, ensuring a comprehensive approach to their care.

In this role, you will work with a diverse clientele, including individuals of varying ages and backgrounds facing an array of challenges, from emotional distress due to trauma to chronic mental health disorders. Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A valid and current license as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Texas.

• A minimum of four years of related counseling experience in a clinical setting.

• Thorough understanding of mental health disorders and familiarity with various evidence-based treatment approaches.

• Strong crisis intervention skills and the capacity to remain composed in challenging circumstances.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills that enable the building of rapport with clients from all walks of life.

• Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and Microsoft Office applications.

• Commitment to maintaining ethical guidelines, professional boundaries, and client confidentiality throughout all interactions.

• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience delivering therapy in both individual and group settings, particularly with excluded populations or those from underserved communities.

Compensation and Benefits\n
