Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate the mental health needs of clients and create individualized treatment plans that draw from evidence-based methodologies.

• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions using a variety of therapeutic approaches tailored to the specific needs of clients.

• Maintain timely and accurate documentation of client progress and treatment interventions, ensuring adherence to state and federal regulations.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary population served by Grow Through Life Counseling includes adults, adolescents, and families from diverse backgrounds facing a range of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship difficulties. In this role, you will use your cultural competence to address and support clients from various demographics, tailoring your therapeutic approach to meet their unique needs and experiences.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree or higher in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related field is required.

• Active licensure in the state of Pennsylvania as a LMFT, LPC, LCSW, or equivalent is mandatory.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a mental health counseling role is expected, preferably in a clinical setting.

• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with diverse populations and address a wide array of mental health issues.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with an emphasis on empathy and active listening.

• Capability to work independently while also being an integral part of a collaborative team environment.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience with telehealth platforms and delivering therapy through virtual means is highly desirable.

• Familiarity with specific evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or other contemporary modalities will be an advantage.

• Experience in working with specific client populations, including veterans, LGBTQ+ clients, and individuals facing complex trauma, is preferred.
