Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of senior clients to identify their mental health needs and challenges.

• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized treatment plans that align with the specific needs of clients.

• Offer psychotherapy sessions via telehealth, providing therapy to clients of all backgrounds, specifically targeting older adults.

• Engage in collaborative discussions during staff conferences to enhance treatment efficacy and client outcomes.
\n
• Create and maintain thorough and confidential records, including intake summaries, treatment plans, and continuous progress notes, following all state and NCQA regulations.

• Research and refer clients to additional resources and support services as needed, ensuring a comprehensive support system for each individual.

• Participate in an on-call rotation to provide emergency support as necessary, responding to acute situations with professionalism and care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role concentrates predominantly on senior clients who are tackling various life transitions and mental health challenges. From dealing with grief and loss to managing chronic mental health issues, your expertise will provide them with the needed support and avenues for coping. You will be instrumental in creating a therapeutic space where clients feel safe to express their emotions and explore their mental health journeys.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Clinical Psychology, Counseling Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or LPCC in the state of California is required; we cannot accept applications from individuals with an associate's license due to Medicare billing requirements.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) is necessary for documentation and reporting purposes.

• A professional demeanor, with strong communication and interpersonal skills to foster effective therapeutic relationships.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
