Work Environment

You will work in our state-of-the-art rehabilitation center located in Brick, NJ, a welcoming space designed for both patients and staff. Our clinic operates Monday through Friday from 9 am to 5 pm, allowing for a consistent work schedule that promotes work-life balance and personal well-being.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations to assess patients' physical abilities and limitations, setting the baseline for tailored treatment plans.
• Design and implement individualized rehabilitation programs that incorporate therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and other modalities appropriate for geriatric patients.
• Monitor patient progress meticulously, documenting your observations and modifying treatment plans as necessary to optimize recovery outcomes.
• Collaborate actively with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including physicians, occupational therapists, and speech therapists, to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
• Educate patients and their families about therapeutic techniques, home exercise regimens, and lifestyle modifications to enhance recovery and promote independence.
• Implement fall prevention strategies and safety protocols tailored for the geriatric population, reducing risks and improving overall patient safety.
• Engage in continuous education and professional development to stay abreast of the latest advancements in physical therapy practices and methodologies.
• Adhere to the ethical and professional standards in the delivery of care, maintaining patient confidentiality and integrity throughout all interactions.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary focus is on the geriatric population, who often present with complex health challenges requiring specialized therapeutic interventions. Patients may be dealing with conditions such as arthritis, neurological deficits, stroke recovery, balance disorders, or other age-related ailments. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required; a Master's or Doctorate is preferred.
• Active State licensure as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey.
• Proficient in electronic medical records (EMR) to track patient data and treatment progress.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective interaction with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits

In recognition of your skills and dedication, Agile Life Physical Therapy offers a competitive salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
