Work Environment

The Lead Nurse Practitioner will work onsite in a hospital-based clinic, allowing for access to a wide array of resources and specialists as needed. Our full-time schedule consists of 40 hours per week, with no required evening or weekend shifts, promoting work-life balance. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments that encompass medical histories, physical examinations, and relevant diagnostic tests to ensure a thorough understanding of patient health.
• Formulate accurate diagnoses and provide timely treatment plans for acute and chronic conditions, adapting strategies as patient needs evolve.
• Order, interpret, and review diagnostic tests such as blood work and imaging studies to inform clinical decisions.
• Develop individualized treatment plans rooted in the latest evidence-based practices, ensuring proactive health management.
• Prescribe appropriate medications and therapies, ensuring patient safety through vigilant monitoring for side effects and efficacy.

Qualifications

• Active and valid Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) license for the state of Maryland.

Compensation and Benefits
