Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

• Deliver comprehensive care to adult and geriatric patients suffering from cardiovascular diseases by conducting precise evaluations and assessments.
• Perform detailed history taking and physical examinations to accurately diagnose patient conditions, ensuring timely and effective treatment.
• Develop and implement tailored care plans based on individual assessments, clinical findings, and evolving patient needs.
• Execute diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, including but not limited to EKGs, stress tests, and other cardiovascular interventions.
• Prescribe medications and oversee treatment plans to improve patient health outcomes, while actively monitoring for effectiveness and potential side effects.
• Maintain up-to-date and accurate documentation for all patient interactions, integrating necessary billing and compliance measures.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your focus will primarily be on adult and geriatric patients who present with varying degrees of cardiac issues, encompassing acute cardiac events to chronic heart conditions. You will work closely with patients to provide education on lifestyle modifications and medication adherence, ensuring they feel empowered in managing their health.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, candidates must satisfy the following requirements:

• A Master's Degree in Nursing, specifically as a Nurse Practitioner.
• An active Nurse Practitioner license in New York State.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience, particularly within a cardiology setting, demonstrating familiarity with cardiac assessments and management.
• Strong diagnostic skills and a profound understanding of treatment modalities for cardiac diseases.

Compensation and Benefits
