Work Environment\n

This role is primarily conducted in a remote setting, allowing for flexibility while ensuring that our services are effectively delivered to the school community. You will collaborate with educational professionals and support staff while maintaining the ability to manage your schedule effectively. The work hours are set from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct one-on-one and group therapy sessions with students, parents, and teachers to address a range of emotional and behavioral concerns.

• Develop, implement, and regularly assess comprehensive treatment plans tailored to the individual needs of clients, ensuring measurable and attainable goals are established.
\n
• Act as a staunch advocate for clients, guiding them through complex systems to connect them with vital resources such as community services, financial assistance, housing, and supportive programs.
\n
• Provide crisis intervention for individuals experiencing acute mental health challenges, including severe anxiety, depression, substance abuse issues, or trauma responses, maintaining a composed and empathetic approach.
\n
• Contribute to community outreach and education initiatives aimed at enhancing mental health awareness and promoting strategies to reduce stigma associated with mental health issues.
\n
• Keep detailed, accurate, and timely documentation of all interventions, progress notes, and treatment plans, in compliance with HIPAA as well as state and federal regulations.
\n
• Engage in ongoing professional development through mentorship programs designed to enhance both clinical skills and personal growth.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily focus on school-aged children and their families, addressing diverse mental health concerns. You will be instrumental in fostering personal growth and stability for students dealing with various life challenges, ultimately influencing their academic performance and social interactions positively.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program.
\n
• A valid Pennsylvania LCSW license enabling independent practice.
\n
• A compassionate, empathetic approach focused on understanding clients' diverse cultural backgrounds and experiences.

• Demonstrated experience delivering therapy to individuals, couples, and families, with a proven ability to connect and communicate effectively.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, enabling seamless collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and independent work.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to write clear, concise reports and treatment plans.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least two years of clinical social work experience in an educational or community-based setting.

• Familiarity with school systems and policies, along with experience in addressing the mental health needs of students and families.
