As a Security Officer Unarmed Premises Patrol in San Carlos, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer at a premier commercial real estate location, where you will patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service. In this role, you will support daily operations through clear communication, professionalism, and teamwork while reflecting Allied Universal’s values of being agile, reliable, innovative, and acting with integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents, maintenance concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with property management and/or emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, observe site activity, and assist with visitor and contractor entry procedures in accordance with property protocols and Allied Universal standards.
• Support daily operations by completing incident reports, maintaining awareness of site expectations, and communicating security-related concerns, hazards, and/or policy issues to appropriate contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
