Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $25.96 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTime Wed 04:00 PM - 12:30 AM Thur 04:00 PM - 12:30 AM Fri 04:00 PM - 12:30 AM Sat 04:00 PM - 12:30 AM Sun 04:00 PM - 12:30 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, and report relevant details according to site protocols. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout campus grounds, academic buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations, with working environments and conditions varying by assignment. Monitor access points, observe activity, and help to deter unauthorized entry and/or suspicious behavior through visible presence and attentive reporting. Support campus operations by assisting with directions, answering general questions, and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency personnel when needed. Minimum Requirements: Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
