Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough evaluations to assess symptoms of mood disorders, including depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans in collaboration with clients that reflect their unique needs and therapeutic goals.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to promote client progress.

• Monitor clients' progress, adapt treatment strategies when necessary, and document all interactions to ensure continuity of care.
\n
• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment options, and effective self-care strategies to foster resilience.
\n
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care, including medication management and holistic approaches.
\n
• Participate in case consultations, team meetings, and continuous professional development workshops focused on current research and best practices in mental health care.

• Advocate for clients' mental health needs and support initiatives aimed at destigmatizing mental health issues.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position primarily serves clients coping with mood disorders, including those from diverse backgrounds such as refugees, individuals experiencing homelessness, and survivors of domestic abuse. As an LMFT, you will be instrumental in providing culturally competent care that recognizes the unique challenges and strengths of each client, ensuring they receive the support they need on their mental health journey.

Qualifications\n

• Current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field from an accredited institution.

Compensation and Benefits\n
