Work Environment

This position is based onsite within our state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Facility located in Orlando. The facility is equipped with the latest therapeutic equipment and technologies to ensure that our therapists can provide the highest level of care. As a full-time employee, you will work approximately 40 hours a week, with some variability on weekends to accommodate patient needs. Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Healthactions Physical Therapy, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments of patients to evaluate their functional capabilities and limitations.
• Developing individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices and patient-specific goals.
• Implementing and adjusting treatment protocols while ensuring compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and professional standards.
• Educating patients and their families about the treatment process, expected outcomes, and home exercises to support their rehabilitation journey.
• Maintaining accurate documentation of patient treatment plans, evaluations, and progress in line with organizational policies.
• Collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate care and discharge planning, ensuring seamless transitions for patients.
• Providing mentorship and supervision to support staff and students, fostering a culture of learning and growth within the facility.
• Participating in community outreach programs and health initiatives to promote wellness and preventative care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from surgery, younger patients with sports-related injuries, and older adults dealing with age-related mobility issues. Our tailored approach to rehabilitation ensures that each patient receives the appropriate level of care tailored to their specific demographic needs.

Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current state licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist in Florida.
• Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient with word processing and electronic documentation systems.

Preferred Experience

Successful candidates will also have:

• A minimum of two years of experience in a clinical setting, particularly within outpatient rehabilitation or similar environments.
• Experience working collaboratively in an interdisciplinary team, showcasing leadership abilities and community engagement.

Compensation and Benefits
