Work Environment

The Physical Therapist position is based onsite at our state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility in Orlando. You will be working alongside a supportive team of healthcare professionals who are devoted to collaboration and professional growth. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, allowing for a healthy work-life balance while providing comprehensive outpatient services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities

Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough evaluations by reviewing patient history, performing individual assessments, and determining appropriate treatment recommendations.
• Effectively explaining evaluation findings and treatment plans to patients and their families while involving them in goal-setting to enhance engagement and compliance.
• Implementing treatment protocols proficiently based on evaluation results, current best practices, and evolving healthcare standards.
• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals as necessary, recognizing and documenting any changes in patient conditions that may require adjustments to the care plan.
• Carrying out comprehensive discharge planning and follow-up care by accurately documenting patient interactions, creating clear and timely progress summaries, and facilitating understanding of their care course.
• Demonstrating excellent time management skills to meet productivity targets and maintaining a well-organized schedule.
• Participating in departmental goal setting and initiatives that align with regulatory compliance and accreditation standards.
• Proactively seeking continuing education opportunities for personal and professional development and mentoring physical therapy students as needed.
• Striving to enhance the patient experience through excellent customer service and participating in community outreach and marketing endeavors.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient demographics range widely, serving individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports-related injuries, neurological conditions, and chronic pain. As a Physical Therapist, you will devise individualized treatment plans that not only address specific impairments but also consider the holistic needs of each patient, ensuring they receive comprehensive care tailored to their unique physical and emotional challenges.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate must possess the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• A valid state license to practice physical therapy, as applicable in Florida.
• An American Heart Association's BLS for Healthcare Providers CPR certification.
• A dedication to continuing education and professional growth in the field of physical therapy.

Preferred Experience
